Octa GST Customer Data

Any data files or database created by Octa GST in the course of software usage is referred as customer generated data.

  • In the case of Desktop Services, this customer data is stored on storage location chosen by customer.
  • In the case of Cloud Services, this customer data is stored in the Octa GST cloud infrastructure located within the territory of India.

Octa GST does not transmit the customer data to any other storage location or external servers.

Octa GST Support personnel cannot access customer generated data unless it is explicitly shared by the customer to assist us in the support process.

Auto Updates

An automatic update mechanism may be implemented in our Service to check the availability of any new version of software. This update mechanism may also automatically update the customer software.

Update mechanism may send the information about the software installation and it may include the customer identity.

Piracy Protection

Our Service may implement algorithms and/or techniques to detect the software usage which is not permitted by software license or subscription. If such fraudulent usage is detected, this information along with customer identity may be transmitted to our servers.
