Transfer Subscription
You will need your account email address & password to activate/deactivate Octa GST subscription. If you have forgot your password, you can reset it on Octa Cloud.
Case-1: You want to transfer the subscription to a different computer
On your current computer:
- Run Octa GST
- Click on Show data store button and copy the Octa GST files
- Click on Deactivate button on the home screen.
- Enter your account email address and password to deactivate.
On new computer:
- Install and run Octa GST.
- Click Activate.
- Enter your account email address and password to activate.
- Restore the Octa GST files to data store location.
Case-2: You are going to format your computer
IMPORTANT: Make sure you have taken the backup of your data before formatting your computer. It will not be possible to recover the data if you don't take the backup before formatting your computer.
Before formatting:
- Run Octa GST
- Click on Show data store button and take the back of Octa GST files
- Click on Deactivate button on the home screen.
- Enter your account email address and password to deactivate.
After formatting:
- Install and run Octa GST.
- Click Activate.
- Enter your account email address and password to activate.
- Restore the Octa GST files to data store location.
Case-3: You have already formatted your computer
If you have formatted your computer without deactivating Octa GST, please send an email from your registered email
address to support@octagst.com
with following information:
- Business Name
- Subscription Key
- Computer Name
